London quintet Black Pixels release break-up banger ‘Tides’

East-London quintet Black Pixels are a post-pop collective who have dropped their latest single ‘Tides’ – a haunting and eerie break-up anthem, featuring sampled kalimba sounds amongst powerful vocals and silky instrumentals.

Black Pixels create an ambience of joyful melancholy with their dreamy soundscape, producing an individualistic and highly compelling sound whilst their music influences such as The xx & Yves Tumour shine through.

“Tides is about loving someone so much it hurts. And it’s about how dark and obsessive things can get when they leave you” – Alanah (lead singer)

With a debut EP on the way this September, if debut single ‘Hurricane’ and their follow-up release is anything to go by, then there’s a lot to get excited about with Black Pixels.

The band will be performing at The Finsbury Pub in North London on Saturday 30th July to celebrate the release of Tides, RSVP here.
