One thing that we all have in common is that we’re not getting any younger as time ticks by; London-based artist EMMAXTHOMAS uses this relatable message to depict her own angst with soaring synth-pop single TWENTY NINE.

TWENTY NINE (produced by Jennings Couch) uses wonky distorted sonics and emotive songwriting to build a gritty, atmospheric and turbulent soundscape – in what is by far Emma’s darkest and most personally raw release to date.

EMMAXTHOMAS tells the tale of her latest song: “It’s about feeling terrified about getting older, and the expectations that surround certain ages. It’s something that’s been making me very emotional.”
