Although it’s only been four months since their debut, we feel an incredible sense of connection with The Horn. It seems to be a full circle moment now that they’ve come out with their first EP Do It Now, to present the homonym final installment.
Vocalist Jonny Taylor describes the track to express “the frustration, which is perhaps that of not being allowed to do something […] just the sheer impatience of what it is to be a human being on this planet.”
“Do It Now” hence sounds incredibly cathartic, being the most natural ending to this fabulous introductory era for the five-piece band.
This track was written by bass player Nick True to remind listeners to keep focusing and avoid losing track of their one shot at life. The soundscape is so crisp and the elements so tasty, that joining in on the chorus is inevitable by the end of the song. Very quickly, “Do It Now” becomes a belief, a religion.
