Since the formation of 110 Above in 2009, the Leicestershire-based festival has constantly been silently churning out the greatest indie music festival lineup packed with the best talent across the entire UK. Michael Laine’s creation sees many hundreds of musicians and attendees across the four-day fun. We have whittled down this faultless lineup to just five acts that you must make sure you don’t miss out on seeing at this year’s festival!
Dutch Criminal Record
Making their first appearance at Gopsall Hall Farm, south coast surf-indie band Dutch Criminal Record are crowd-pleasers fit for any festival stage. Performing on Saturday at the Old Town Hall stage, you will kick yourselves if you don’t witness these lads who have amassed an audience of well over half a million TikTok followers as well as supporting festival headliners Sea Girls on their UK & European tour.
Sea Girls
As previously mentioned, Sea Girls are one of the big headliners on the Elizabeth Stage of 110 Above this year, and rightly so with their highly energetic live set. The London-based band has grown from strength to strength since their formation, previously recording their music above a kebab shop owned by Rudimental. Playing on Sunday night, you won’t be leaving 110 Above early!
Lucky Iris
Performing on Friday at the Old Town Hall stage, Leeds alt-pop duo Lucky Iris are two souls that will heal you with their minimalistic bedroom-pop bops, we can’t get enough of Jasper & Maeve.
The Covasettes
Manchester quartet The Covasettes don’t need any introduction but we’ll introduce them anyway, they’re an indie-rock band who are in our opinion the greatest Manchester band of all time. Since forming in 2017, these guys have been performing energetic and fun shows like they were born to do it.
Ellie Dixon
Playing on Thursday on the first day of 110 Above, Ellie Dixon is making a huge name for herself with her fun, original and memorable indie alt-pop music. The Cambridge-born producer and artist will be a force to be reckoned with in the next few years as one of the biggest names in the UK music scene.
