Enter Jozem’s ethereal dreamworld with debut album ‘it came to me in a dream’

Introducing the debut album ‘it came to me in a dream’, self produced and written by alternative R&B artist Jozem.

“The title ‘it came to me in a dream’ is in reference to my creative process, the organic way that this project came together, and the manner in which the melodies, lyrics and visions came to me, at times quite literally in my dreams.”

Lead single ‘Foreign’ was written referencing the sleepless hours spent questioning your identity and truth before falling into a dream state. Perfectly emulating the chaos of thoughts against the silence of the night, this track is emblematic of Jozem’s innate and organic approach to writing.

“I hope people receive it with the love and vulnerability with which it was created. I hope people can relate to the joys and the struggles, that their experience listening to this music can be as cathartic and healing as it was for me.”

Jozem treats creation as a mutual exchange, where having offered himself in his art, he expects genuine trust in return from the consumer. His spiritual development is prevalent and is highly endearing, gently tugging the audience toward a similar path. ‘it came to me in a dream’ is elevating and inspiring unlike anything else we’ve heard before.
