As refreshing as lemonade on a scorching hot day, London-based artist EMMAXTHOMAS has dropped new single Lemons.
The track begins slowly and wholesomely before easy peasy lemon squeeze-ly breaking out into an almost tropical chorus which helps to create imagery of a beautiful (and hopefully not over-packed) beach, playing perfectly into the summery care-free & youthful anthemic sound which Emma is creating.
A blissful hit with an apt ‘when life gives you lemons’ message that is the perfect accompaniment to garden parties, hot weather and enjoying a cheeky bevvy with your pals.
EMMAXTHOMAS is showing herself to be an upcoming artist with an all-round capability of seamlessly intertwining genres and creating bops such as previous indie / alt-pop single ‘I Don’t Believe’ as well as more singer-songwriter folk routes, you’ll be struggling to find a sub-genre that this artist can’t conquer.
The song is streaming everywhere now, so be sure to give it a listen and don’t expect it to leave your playlist anytime soon!
Catch EMMAXTHOMAS at The Finsbury, London on 20th July supporting Lexie Carroll – RSVP
