Irish Indie-Folk artist Sarah Buckley is back with the melancholic new single ‘Full Moon’, a delicate, moody ballad with an effortlessly cool edge. Built around softly strummed electrics, gentle swaying drums and vintage organ sounds, Sarah’s ever relaxed vocal delivery shines on the Karl Odlum (Damien Rice, Glen Hansard) produced single.
‘Full Moon’ creates it’s own melancholic, soulful and somewhat vintage bubble which is only enhanced by the quirky visuals which accompany the release.
Speaking on the new single Sarah said:
“It was an old song that I picked back up in lockdown to finish and record when I was looking for inspiration and a character to climb back into. It was the first time I had recorded remotely but really enjoyed the process of collaborating with Karl online and sending stuff back and forth.”
Having already set the bar high with acclaim across Irish as well as UK media, Sarah Buckley is well on her way to establishing herself on the Indie-Folk scene. Watch the video for ‘Full Moon’ below.
