NEW MUSIC: ‘True Love’ by Revolvers

Revolvers have already put down a firm stamp of their own on the indie-rock scene with a debut album released in 2018, but it seems that they really mean business this year if latest release ‘True Love’ is anything to go by.

‘True Love’ focuses on the bittersweet nostalgia of youthfulness. With uplifting hooks, an anthemic belter of a chorus and a wicked music video to go with it, you can’t help but get extremely excited about Revolvers – equally, it’s impossible not to get hyped up about what else this band have in store for us, with a string of three further releases due to drop in 2019.

Drawing comparisons to the likes of Oasis, Arctic Monkeys & The Clash who are influences of the band, they create their own distinctive modern brand of 60s and 70s rock.

The freshly reshuffled quartet is made up of lead singer James Thurling, Rhys Kibble, Steven Morrison and Will Oliver. The Londoners have a growing reputation for their highly energetic, live hometown performances, and their next show is at The Water Rats in Euston on 1st March, tickets can be found here.
