With just a handful of weeks until Oh Wonder release their second album ‘Ultralife’, our favourite pair of South Londoners released ‘Heavy’ at midnight around the world.
With a colourful, fun and light-hearted music video to match, Josephine and Anthony continue to leave us in a puddle of drool as they whet our appetite for their twelve track album release date on 14th July via. Island Records.
Heavy is another experimental sound from the DIY duo from their upcoming energetic album, and it feels almost like the perfect follow-up to ‘Ultralife’, with an ultra-cheeky lyric included “I could hold you endlessly, ultralife just you and me”. Heavy has a jazzy kinda feel to it, infused with an almost classical kind of vibe and a simplistic, calming piano arrangement throughout the ‘get up and dance’ euphoria. It’s ultra-snazzy.
