Pop-rock’s favourite newcomers Club Drive have released another new track called ‘Spare Time’, the latest studio release since their EP ‘Dangerous’ which was released in late 2016. Originally released on YouTube, whilst the band were recording under the name ‘Tides’, the track sees the group doing what they do best, concocting a pop gem from juicy melodies and a sugar-coated chorus that will stay on your mind for days.
The song officially debuted on BBC Radio 1 on 11th February earlier this month, where it was picked up by the BBC Introducing platform – a slot which has given many big names their path to glory including The 1975, Jack Garratt and Jake Bugg. Notably, Club Drive initially caught the attention of BBC Introducing with the title track of their EP ‘Dangerous’ which became ‘Track of the Week’ almost immediately since its premiere.
2017 sees Club Drive head out on the road for their first ever headline tour where they’ll play three major dates in London, Manchester and Birmingham. The band will also appear at some festivals this summer, including Live at Leeds, The Great Escape and Standon Calling.
