Within just a minute of listening to ‘Masquerade‘ by Newcastle-based indie/alternative quartet VITO – I had to pause it. I sat there for a moment and thought to myself “hang on, have I just potentially discovered one of my favourite bands here?”.
A couple of minutes later, I had no doubts that I had infact just done that.
‘Masquerade’, is set for release Friday 13th January, it’s also the only track that you’ll find on the band’s SoundCloud page right now unfortunately. The song itself is about leaving the place that you were born in and the desire to get out and do much bigger things.
I already cannot wait to see what else these Gateshead guys have in store. You can catch VITO at the Great Escape festival in May, with tour dates to surely in planning to be released at some point this year.
