ALBUM REVIEW : ‘Melon Collie and the Infinite Radness – Part One’ by Tokyo Police Club

Tokyo Police Club, a four-man Canadian band, have been around since they first teamed up in 2005. Their previous music always seemed to give you the sense of a much bigger metaphorical meaning, and they always managed to integrate so many types of sources of sound that their music was characterised by an eerily enjoyable rhythm.

However, their most recent album, “Melon Collie and the Infinite Radness – Part One”, released only last month is a work of ART! The album is only composed of five tracks, but delivering quality is definitely more important than quantity, and Tokyo Police Club made sure to deliver the highest quality of this vibrant and ever growing alternative/indie subgenre.

Luckily, as you can see from the title, we can assume there will be additional parts to this album! Hard to say when we’ll be gifted with the next set of tracks, but good things come to those who wait! Below is the track Not My Girl” off of the album that you’ll surely keep on repeat:

You can also vote for them in the iHeartRadio Rising Star Competition here!
