An incredibly talented new and upcoming artist that I have recently come across is the fantastic Deep City with their catchy indie-pop tunes.

Deep City is a four-piece band hailing from Cambridge, and they are certainly one to keep a close eye on. Gaining inspiration from bands such as The 1975, this band have really found their true sound that I think has been perfectly put together.

‘Slow’ was the first song of Deep City I had heard and was instantly captured into their sound and the style of the band. This single deserves massive recognition amongst listeners and it’s certainly worth checking out – the song also got a massive play for Deep City by Steve Lamacq on BBC 6 Music.

Deep City have also gained some other superb honours including being named ‘Ones to Watch’ at the Cambridge Band Competition 2016 and being runners up of BurySOUND 2016.
