Isaac Anderson Shares Infectious New Single ‘Messed Me Up’

Singer-songwriter Isaac Anderson shares his new indie-pop offering ‘Mess Me Up’. An uplifting, punchy, mega catch track as reminiscent of the likes of The 1975 as it is Tom Grennan, Isaac’s soaring vocals deliver thoughtfully fun lyrics across a radiant soundscape packed with commercial appeal. Topped off with a blistering guitar solo courtesy of Isaac himself, the track is a flawless demonstration of Isaacs abilities as an artist.

Speaking about the track, Isaac shares: “It’s about embracing the beautiful chaos of being young and clueless – stumbling through life with no sense of direction, laughing as the world goes up in flames around you”

“I was inspired by the complete lack of direction myself and a lot of my friends were feeling in our early twenties –  ‘cluelessly muddling through life with little notion of how to get where we wanted, but still trying to live every moment as if it were our last with smiles on our faces.”

Impressively, despite the tracks huge, stadium filling sound, the track was written and produced by Isaac alone, in his bedroom in Nottingham. With a solid career as a session guitarist shows at some of the world’s biggest venues including London Crystal Palace Bowl and Manchester Arena as a session guitarist. Now enjoying success for his own music with regular support from BBC Radio Nottingham and sold out headline shows at Nottingham Rough Trade, Isaac has most definitely established himself as one to watch.
