NEW MUSIC: Blue Stragglers – All Mine (Sometimes)

Sussex alt-rockers Blue Stragglers release blistering new single “All Mine (Sometimes)”.

As a fellow Horsham native myself, I feel very comfortable in saying that Blue Stragglers are easily the best band to be homegrown from our quaint old Sussex town in recent decades. Slap bang in-between London and Brighton, the trio found there to be a lack of local practise spaces available, so even built their own non-profit studios next to a South Downs chalk pit that they and other bands could use 24/7.

Not the types to stop for breath, Blue Stragglers have also recently signed to Lost In The Manor records, and “All Mine (Sometimes)” is their first release under the label. The band’s aim for this single was, in short, to create a ‘festival anthem’, and if “All Mine (Sometimes)” is anything to go by, no track on the forthcoming EP will fall short of their objective. In the words of frontman Lee, “it’s about time we had a proper festival anthem, not a half-baked alternative but the real deal. And this is a genuine earworm.” Couldn’t have said it better myself!

Pleasingly gritty, melodic and catchy all at once, “All Mine (Sometimes)” is a must-listen. Be sure to keep up with the band on social media for all the exciting news…
