NEW MUSIC: ‘Between The Sheets’ by Twilight Driving

Brighton’s Twilight Driving are back with another single that will perk you up after a hectic week. This is a band that are writing songs beyond their years and experience.

‘Between The Sheets’ displays some inventive lyrics and pairs them with an 80’s synth that is becoming a bit of a trademark – and one of our favourite things about the band. The sharp guitar riffs add an extra dynamic edge, completing the song.

This is more than another indie song from another Brighton indie band. Twilight Driving has a little extra something that makes them stand out from that scene. And with catchy lyrics and choruses that make you want to dance, there aren’t any negatives to talk about.

This isn’t the first time the band has featured on the pages of Turtle Tempo and it won’t be the last. Twilight Driving has our seal of approval (not that they needed it, though). Whether you like your indie music in the style of Two Door Cinema Club or The Wombats, or if you sway towards melancholy synth-pop like fellow emerging band HALF HUMAN, then Twilight Driving will pleasantly surprise you.
