Minneapolis husband and wife duo Bora York have been kicking around the blogosphere for a matter of years, so it’s a wonder we hadn’t picked up on their soothing melodies until now, with the release of their latest single, “Glowing”.
“Glowing” is a glorious track that’s simply built for those lazy summer evenings spent with the nearest and dearest – imagine the barbecue smoke smells, the clinking of Pimms glasses and beachy guitar riffs drifting over the breeze from a few gardens away, and you’re pretty much there.
Despite having an array of singles, EPs and albums already under their belt, “Glowing” marks a brand new beginning for Bora York as they set sail again with a sparkling new sound. However, they smartly continue to nurture the roots of the duo – catchy melody lines and skilful writing – which sets them light years apart from many artists in the indie-pop scene.
