FEVA is a four-piece alt/indie band from Newcastle. The band are especially exciting as they only played their first gig in January of this year (2017). But their limited time together hasn’t halted their progress, with plays on national radio and being picked by Spotify to be featured on their playlists.
Latest single ‘You’ has all the hallmarks of an indie classic. Its catchy guitar riff intro is memorable, while the vocals are washed in 80’s reverb and nostalgia. The song is heavier in parts which will attract a wider range of rock fan. However, the song is missing a decent guitar solo. The songwriting and composition are of a good standard, which bodes well for the band’s long-term future. Especially if they keep working hard to develop their style. They clearly have chemistry, as all the instruments work well together.
