An artist that I have been a fan of ever since the days of ‘Sportswear’ is my beloved Rat Boy. Now I can clearly see the growth of this brilliant artist in their latest single ‘Get Over It’.
‘Get Over It’ has shown how Essex boy, Jordan Cardy has matured with the music they are producing and finding that specific syth-indie pop rock style to their songs with that constant 80’s feel. After a brilliant year which included being voted NME’s Best New Artist 2016 and some fantastic headline shows this single is a real statement for the year they’ve had.
‘Get Over It’ begins fantastically with grovy synth 80’s beats that give it that get up and dance feel before blasting into Jordan’s talented vocals. This is a fantastically pieced together piece of music with a great summer feel to this song that you cannot get enough of!
