South African three-piece Early Hours have come flying out the blocks with new single ‘Into The Wilderness’ that was premiered on Indie Current last week, and it certainly had a lot to live up to following their huge hit ‘Smells Like Summer’.
‘Into The Wilderness’ is the perfect summer tune from Early Hours with a refreshing and nostalgic summer sound. Vocalist and co-songwriter Jake bases his lyrics around the idea of heading into the unknown, whether that be a place, a relationship or any other form of extraordinary is in the listener’s hands. This song certainly has that unique edge and tells you a story through every lyric.
Early Hours will be hoping that this single can replicate the brilliant success of their previous single ‘Smells Like Summer’ which gained a fantastic reception and gave them a number 1 on the SoundCloud Indie Rock chart.
