American indie pop duo JR JR (formerly known as Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.) like to stick around the United States for their shows, but their music knows no boundaries of distance, and is becoming known, appreciated, and loved by fans worldwide.
Below is a track off their last album released last September. I chose The Middle because the fun synthpop sound was irresistible. It was as if The Beatles were revived, collaborated with OK Go and added more synth sounds. Knowing that JR JR used to create their art working out of a basement studio should offer any aspiring artist with the motivation and inspiration needed to get started, regardless of limitations.
