Intriguing and enticing – those are just two words that can be used to describe Bottle Note, a four-piece indie band from Edinburgh whose latest single shows that they will soon be taking the indie world by storm.
With hints of inspiration from indie rock front-runners Catfish and the Bottlemen, their latest offering ‘Callant’, from their debut EP with the same name, has an opening riff so heavenly and intensifying, it’s highly impressive for a band who are described in technical and discography-sized terms as “amateur” – there is surely nothing amateur about the incredibly infectious sound that this song provides. Callant is also teaming with simplistic but sincerely down-to-earth lyrics which further add to the song’s charm. An impressive track that will sure give Bottle Note all kinds of attention.
