You’re hooked right onto this track from the Glasgow-based band ‘The Lapelles’ right from the beginning with the rapid upbeat intro, you just knew from the start of this song that this was going to be an absolute indie banger.
‘Grab Life By’ is full of infectious hooks throughout, and it’s arguably the best song that the five-piece band have released so far, who are all, surprisingly in their early 20’s, I say ‘surprisingly’ because these guys sound way ahead of their time with their quality of their music.
On a personal level, I’m not lying when I say that The Lapelles have probably been my favourite discovery of the year so far. This band might just be the best thing to come out of Scotland since Irn-Bru. Check ’em out ASAP.
