Let’s set the scene, you’re on a beach somewhere and it’s incredible, you feel like life couldn’t get any better, then you pop your iPhone/iPod/preferred choice of music player on, and boom, suddenly you’re listening to ‘Throw My Love Away’ by Leisure Club and life is complete.
This is a wonderful debut hit from Vancouver-based quartet Leisure Club. It’s no surprise that these Canadians were formerly of other bands – the indie-pop band BESTiE and rock and roll band Tough Lovers respectively. Hopefully there’s a lot more music as good as their debut track to come from Leisure Club.
