Australian Indie duo Gypsy & The Cat, formed in 2008, have released a new track last month titled “I Just Wanna Be Somebody Else“. The band have been keeping quite busy releasing tracks more frequently than before, and not haphazardly or carelessly, but by actually dedicating exceptionally hard work to create their beautiful tunes.
Rising in publicity and popularity through being presented on Fox, Australian radio stations “Triple J” and “Nova”, they are a team to keep an eye on. If there had to be one word to describe their music, it would be “fun”. Their music is so energetic and lively. Their next album is due to be out this year, so we’ll keep a lookout for that masterpiece once it’s out.
Imagine a hybrid of Foster the People and Bad Suns with an ’80s twist and you’ve got Gypsy & The Cat.
