Canadian up-and-comer RALPH returns with the confident single ‘Tease.’ The 80s-inspired pop tune is catchy, energetic, and optimistic as it condones female friendship rather than competition, while condemning unfaithful behavior from men.
RALPH says that her song was inspired by being fed up of being misled by men who were spoken for. “Maybe you were shy back in high school/Always stuck in the friend-zone/But if you keep this up/You’re gonna end up alone,” she sings. With its relatable theme and bubbly tune, ‘Tease’ makes a fitting anthem for any girl who has fallen victim to a boy who neglected to be upfront about his commitments.
