The latest release from Saharas sees the band move away from their synth-focused mindset of previous songs. The experiment has resulted in a spacious and melodious creation that should garner the band the attention that their songwriting skills deserve.
‘Shake My Fever’ combines cool, stylish guitar riffs with moody subtleties in a similar vein to The Vaccines. They’d fit nicely on the main stage at any festival, or kicking off an episode of Soccer AM.
In some ways, it’s surprising that Saharas are only a four-piece as their sound feels like it comes from a larger ensemble. So, it will be interesting to see if they can replicate this new sound live to the same extent.
You can see the Windsor-based band when they play at our upcoming free entry showcase at Notting Hill Arts Club on Saturday 15th September. RSVP here.
