NEW MUSIC: “My Friends” by Oh Wonder

Oh Wonder first performed “My Friends” at The Roundhouse, London on September 2016, aided on stage with a solitary lamp.

Now the duo have switched the lights on at The Pool in Bermondsey to record their newest release which will feature on their hugely anticipated upcoming album Ultralife.

Their vocals are aided this time by violin’s and cello’s involved towards the end of the song, which was written by the pair and dedicated for their families and friends for when they are away from home and travelling on tour.

Oh Wonder – who were actually briefly called Wonder Wonder at one point, will perform close to home in South-east London for the very first time on 10th May, for a rare intimate gig at Omeara in SE1, which unfortunately for myself (minus any expletives that followed at the time) sold out quicker than Usain Bolt in a 100m sprint to 200 incredibly lucky humans who were rapid on the ticket page refresh button. It is set to be their third London show since kicking it all off in 2015.
