I may have only spoken to lead singer and guitarist James Newbigging a few months ago here, but I just couldn’t not take the opportunity to catch-up with the Yorkshire-quartet before their final show with Hippo Campus at a sold-out Dingwalls in London.
The band, consisting of James, Oli, Rob & Cale, release their brand new single “Friends” on February 17, with an upcoming headline tour throughout England also on the horizon.

I sat down with the self-declared ‘dirty-pop’ band – Marsicans, to ask the all-important questions to dig deeper to find out their prefered choice of cereal, who they would like to be stuck in a lift with – a Marsicans tattoo, and drummer Cale shares one of his jokes with us:
